New birth into a sure hope

The full coloured hand lettered and illustrated design for this hanging decoration consists of a wreath of two halves. I designed this as a reminder of Jesus’s sacrifice and a celebration of the rescue and life we have guaranteed in him.

One half is a crown of thorns reminding us of his loving sacrifice which rescues us. The other half is a crown of flourishing flowers and leaves celebrating the life that Jesus guarantees us in him. A sure and certain living hope.

The verse in the centre of the wreath is "He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" 1 Peter 1:3.

I used a colour palette of teal, greens, yellow, orange and brown.

The decoration is approx. 10.5cm in diameter and has a green satin ribbon hanging tie. There were so many colours to choose from for this but I went with green because I wanted to celebrate the life we have in Jesus - now in part and one day fully when he returns or calls us home and makes everything lovely, right and new.

The decoration is made using FSC approved Birch in the UK which means you’ll be helping us be kinder to our planet.

It is approx. 3mm thick and cut along the wreath outline making for a lovely decoration for your home or to gift to a loved one. And above all a wonderful reminder of how loved and secure we are in Jesus in all seasons of life.

It would also make a fab seasonal gift particularly at Easter or Christmas.
